Together with AWS I'm also working on one another not very ordinary project.It have no name yet.
I'm trying to rebuild TraceFire and ProcessTraceHit functions to make a weapon, that will able to shoot through walls.
I had founded a lot of projects and examples of this.But i don't like them, seems they have bugs.
1st and mostly used example - overloading of ProcessTraceHit function.Effect of this - second trace spawned in some distance from HitLocation of first trace.That's not useful as I think.If PiereceFactor, that defines distance from end of first trace and start of second trace, very large - weapon can't hit target behind the wall or pawn.If too small - same effect.Also, bug is spawn of shellcase where second trace starts.
2nd method - using projectile instead trace.In that proj bCollideWorld is
False.That's not useful because if projectile LifeSpan is equal 0 it can cause lag s in online.
There's also another method.But using it ables weapon penetrate only pawns.Some time ago I sent it to mental-HunteR to test it on presence of bugs.
Some time later, if my way of solving this problem will be effective, I'l release this weapon with opened source.And I hope, after that will be created few mods with mostly realistical weapons.
If anybody of you, guys, have propositions or advices for this project, or have ideas about what you want to see in Weapon of Tomorrow - post them in this topic. |

Yea, i made a gun out of it, but. There is alreaddy one that can shoot through walls and isn't bugged. Look at the U4e one. And your works fine to. _________________

You menan RailGun?.Yeah, I know that it can shoot through walls.But it shoots PROJECTILE.And it only spawns trace effect that have no hit location,only some length .That's why it looks like weapon shooting trace through wall.
My works shall able creation of trace weapons that can shoot through walls.Rail Gun from U4e can penetrate any amount of walls with any thickness.I want create weapon, that will pierece difined number of walls with defined thickness.
Btw, does my script causes any bugs while using online?
and another thing.Can I later send to you script i'm working on wnen (and if) i finish it?You see you only the guy, with whom I can contact very fast and always get an answer. |

Well, i don't have much time to play Unreal this year. College and stuff. And your gun doesn't shoots trough walls i noticed. And i play other games to, i'm playing unreal like an hour a week so don't got plenty of time to test anything everyone sends me. But i can put it on later. And please, make a ufile of it, don't send me the UC file. I don't want to make the ufile myself again. _________________

Np, Mental.
Last saturday I had downloaded Uneal Patch up to version 227.Do you know what I did?Installed it on my Unreal Gold!!!
After that UGold transformed into Unreal, with same style of menus and everything else!
But...I'm not feeling upset.V 227 is really coool.After i some time played it,
in my brains rised idea to make patch, based on this, for Unreal Gold.
I had created plan of addons and supplements for UGold.So now I'm starting to search guys, who aren't very busy, and who know Index of Unreal Script and can help to do it.
First question to you.Can you help me a bit?
Btw....HOW MANY GIGS OF CACHE UR SERVER HAVE?????!!!!!!!
Last saturday I three (3) hours uploaded files and didn't finished! |

227,k dont bother to use it now, wait till a more safer or even the final version comes out, thats what i do. |
