"Unreal Classic" mod destine for level designers, who want create singleplayer maps
or mods in style Unreal1 on UT2004 engine. In order to create your own mod, simply
make first map with prefix CU-, and You may see your map in map browser UnrealClassic. Install notes for mod: 1. If you use non UMOD version, extract files in temp directory, copy folder UClassic in base UT2004 folder: ..\UT2004\UClassic (in no circumstances put files in base UT2004 folders) 2. For start UnrealClassic use "Launch Unreal Classic.bat", or create new shortcut on Desktop: UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -mod=UClassic -makenames 3. For start UnrealED use "UnrealEd for UClassic.bat", or shortcut UT2004\System\UnrealEd.exe -mod=UClassic 4. If you download additional map for UnrealClassic mod, extract it in folder UClassic\Maps |
In mod add MotionBlur, it start when some monster attack You in Melee Fight, for
example "Skaarj". Add new damagetype - Frozen, player slow down for 30%, this damagetype
cause "IceSkaarj". There are Nightvision (get from UnrealWiki) replace all weapon, some have any feature. Add new weapon like RazorJack and DispersionGun. In My mod all cheats disable, You may turn on cheats for test purpose, using console
command "testmode", however You can't save current level. WallDodge, doublejump and
shieldgun disable. You have only one Life, if You killed, start from begin (or from save)
Add: classic save, code console, universal translator, jumpboots, classic armor system.
Common mistakes: 1. For activate inventory bind "Activate Current Inventory Item", not "Use" 2. For Translator and Nightvision you can bind individual key. 3. Stats on killing monsters display only if you have Universal Translator in inventory. 4. Do not save game to slot from currently load, windows prevent overwrite file currently in use. Therefore you also can't use Fast Save/Load. |
