I recently updated my driver for my video card, the nvidia 5200 fx series and now whenever i try to use 32 bit color quality the game goes incredibly slow and unplayable. I don't know why it won't work, it worked before I updated it, but not now. Anybody got help?

thanks

Try restoring your driver to the version that worked fine. Uninstall the version that gives problems and re-install the good version.

You can also try something like a system restore.

Check the server log. Maybe it gives a clue about what goes wrong with your connection attempt.

Not sure. It mentions port 0 which may be weird. When I look it up it says that port 0 is reserved and should not be used for normal TCP/UDP connections. But maybe it's just a name for an unassigned port.

It also gives an error: UDP recvfrom error: 10054
You may want to search if you can find what it means.

After this, the connection attempt times out. Probably because of the error, but an other reason can be slow server or an opened server console window.

It's nothing with the router. If the router was not configured well, players from outside could not get in. It's generally not recommended to change Unreal's ports unless you want to run multiple servers on one machine.

I can't say. I only can say that you should be able to connect. Your server runs Unreal 225? You may do a test install of Unreal client to a new location, patch to 226 (Not needed if you have Gold) and connect to your server. (console: open <IP server>)

Quote on Hypers ip tip, you can also type: open 127.0.01. That always comes out to your server.

Not always, only if you run server and client on the same machine. (Which I don't recommend for performance reasons)
