the player class is called "robb"
i wanted to use it in a server but when i tried to connect unreal closed and a new window popped up saying...
critical error
failed to load player class

You are crashing with that error because the server can't find the class to spawn. If a different server doesn't have the package loaded then it will never spawn for you. Also gametypes such as JCoop1-5, JCoopZ1, MCoop1-2, UTF10+, and a few others force specific player classes. Use an original player class when going elsewhere unless you know the server supports it.

Explore to your Unreal System folder and open your User.ini file. At the top in the [DefaultPlayer] section change your class to "Class=UnrealShare.MaleThree" without quotes and save changes. Once you start unreal you can then change your player setup again to whatever you want.
