Hi all - first post, so sorry if this has been done before...

I've set up a dedicated UT99 server on a commercially hosted windows 2003 server. I've done this before a couple of years back, so didn't expect any probs. In fact, I copied all my old server.ini files across, and installed all the same patches, anti-cheats, etc...

Now the server is running fine - can see it at:

217.158.120.219:7787

I can add it manually, and play on it no probs. However, it doesn't appear to be listing in the master server - ie, it doesn't show up on ut when I refresh a server list. I've opened every port thinkable on the firewall...

7777-7796 TCP and UDP - 27900 UDP and TCP. All outgoing ports are open. 8080 tcp. 9999 UDP. 8777 UDP and TCP. I checked my firewall settings from before, as they were still there, and I've matched them exactly, and added a few... Starting to pull my hair out a bit.

My only guess is that the master servers may have changed in the year or so betweek me running servers... I'm using unreal.epicgames.com and master0.gamespy.com at the mo... What is the default list looked at by the UT99 client?

Any ideas? I can post full logs or inis if required...

It should be just www.epicgames.com. And have you got any other servers from other games or from the same game running on that computer? Because its NOT possible to run 2 servers on the same computer.

Hi, thanks for your reply, but..

I've run multiple UT servers in the past with no probs - it's fine as long as you change the ports they use. But in this case, no, I'm not running multiple servers.

Windows firewall is off, but i just checked with a netstat -a, and there is no current connection to the master server. Does anyone know if it holds a connection, or just send a ping out every minute?

From where I'm sitting, it looks like it's not connectiong, but I've got the all the correct settings in the ini :-|

Not possible to run more than one Unreal engine server on one computer? That's simply untrue. In fact, I run 4 Unreal servers on 1 computer myself, and all are listed at the master server.

it's sooo frustrating. Does anyone have an example server.ini (or whatever) file that I could check against. I re-used my one from years back, which used to work fine, but obviously doesn't any more...

Do you have for each different ports then Hyper? Because i run a Serious Sam server and a Unreal Server. My virusscanner probaly turned firewall off. Thats why it blocks my server plus it's lan connection.

I run my servers from ports 5555, 6666, 7777 and 8888. I also forwarded a few ports higher than those because players seems to get a port +1 higher. (See Unreal port list for details)
