Ok, I finally feel ready to make a real project. I've had some troubles with UnrealEd, but I understand it a whole lot better now.
Anyhow, everyone meet the United Defense Research Project.
Not much to see now, four very early screenshots of the first level, but please any comments on the story are welcome.
I'll also need some advice, and no doubt some help scripting a few specials for the inventory.
Ident Cards: These will be used to open some doors and security cabinets.
Data Disks: Used to spawn a translator message, when user has disk and finds a specific computer and also to trigger some events like making the Teleporter work, to get to the next level. |

Nice site you got there.

I once read some tips about coop compatible maps, but I don't know where anymore. The most important thing is that there are no 'one way' doors / lifts / ... The player must can leave at any moment without leaving the level blocked to others. I also read that there need to be multiple 'playerstarts' at the beginning of the level, so multiple players can join the level at the same time.
Maybe there are some mappers here who have more tips. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Thanks, for everyone wanting to help, I only need the scripting I talked about.
Hyper, my map usually has more than one path to get to any one location, and I'll add multiple player starts too |

I need these items made:
Data Disks: Have to be able to trigger events, say when a user has a specific disk, and they use it at a computer, the disk makes a translator message.
Ident Cards: For unlocking doors, switches and computers.
There is no more detail to it than that :/ |
