Hello,
I reskinned the Unrealfan site a couple of days ago because it seemed that the old site had various HTML bugs, now i need to know if it gets displayed right within FireFox.
So, can somebody with Firefox browse around on 1 or 2 pages to see if nothing funny happens.
Site: www.unrealfan.net.tc
Thanks in advance,
-SR

It does not work; When I click on the links, it gives this error message:

You probably need to upload the rest of the html content or the verwijzingen are incorrect. :p _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

That helped. I guess the old site was still in my proxy cache.
The new site looks great, but I like the old one better, because it uses the width of the screen better. The new one has a very limited and fixed width, which makes much of the space on a bigger screen unused.
You might want to consider an auto scaling, with dimensions given in percentages instead of pixels. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Thanks,
Yes i was already thinking about scaling, because i also have a high screen resolution (1280x1024) however you have 1600x1200 so it must realy look small on your screen. But the thing is, people with 800x600 resolution will still be able to view the site normally. Try putting your site in 800x600. You will see that the translator bar will get over the text, which makes it hard to read.
Maybe ill scale it up with a percentage. But my old site had the problem too, people with 800x600 resolution could not read the site because some things would just overlay onto eachother.
Im also trying to make the page 'HTML 4.01 Transitional' (http://validator.w3.org/).

That's not an issue really. The sidebar on my site only loads on larger browser windows. This check does require java-script tho. Try to open my site in a smaller window to see what I mean.
But still viewing my site at 800x600 is not a pleasure. You'll need to have a minimal toolbar set to get all the menu buttons on screen.

Good luck with the updates. Especially making things standards compliant can be a nasty job. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.
