Hi me and my bro plannin on playing coop with unreal gold, but for some reason i can't set it on Unreal

how do i set it up?

p.s. is there any sites out there that is worth the download such as custom skins, and stuff?

Unreal already has support for coop games built-in. When you can run Unreal and have an internet connection you can join any Unreal coop server. Please note that it might take some time to get in a server because you have to download all mods.

For the downloads: sites like http://www.oldunreal.com and http://www.celticwarriors.net have a lot of downloads for Unreal.

but i meant as in the difficulty, like Easy, Medium, Hard, Unreal, anyway to set the difficulty for coop mode in unreal gold?

you can also try out my unrealfan site, it has some mods. custom weapons and other stuff, i will release PowerAdmin Pro within 2 weeks, which also comes handy cuz its compatible with all unreal types and gametypes.

you can find the link in my sig.

anyway, i never tried anything to set the difficulty on a server, you could try opening the settings files (the .ini's) in the system map, searching for the difficulty.

well i run the server by going to start new multi game, and hitting start, its not dedicated, how do i enter the code in for "?difficulty=3", i know you have to open the console but when do i enter it?

you can do it with a batchfile, look my topic about automatic server reboot in serversetup forum, then just add: ?difficulty=3 behind the code

i made the batch file but for some reason when i double click on it it says it cannot find the server.batch file

This is a very basic coop game with the difficulty set to 3. Note that when you launch it this way (With Unreal Gold and as listening server) you probably get some Klingon or KSA clan members who start to summon vai Unreal Gold's security flaws.

yes, never start a server without good security software. i like mailed 3 people already when i saw this, new server usually dont have any protection. normally because the host doesnt fully understand the server scene.

i suggest to use nepthys. and maybe even jcoopz

alright it works, thx alot guys but i have a question, is 3 hard or unreal? or 4 is unreal?
