UDPBeacon always gives errors at my server because I run multiple servers which all try to bind the same port. I read a but about UDPBeacon, and as far as I understand it is used to find Unreal servers in LAN environments.
Can I just remove the IpDrv.UdpBeacon server actor? Or would this hurt the server in some way? _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

You could remove it. It seems to only allow a LAN unreal server to be queried in the UBrowser LAN tab for LAN clients.
From the Unreal.ini and 'Advanced Options>Networking>Server Beacon':
Quote: | [IpDrv.UdpBeacon]
DoBeacon=True
BeaconTime=0.50
BeaconTimeout=5.0
BeaconPort=7776
BeaconProduct=Unreal
ServerBeaconPort=7775 |
It might be a better option to change the ServerBeaconPort in the INI file for each unreal server to be a number or two below their gameplay port.

Interesting. My servers Unreal.ini has no "ServerBeaconPort" option. I already tried changing the "BeaconPort" option in the past, but that did not work. (As I now learned, because it is a client setting) _________________ Alter your reality...forever.
