it was on the last Klingon map from the start where i was stripped of everything reconnecting did'nt help. |

Here is a report fillout to keep this understandable.
1. What map(s) did it happen on?
2. Did it happen after death or notice it immediatly when joining the map?
3. Do your weapons and/or pickup items return when you try cycling through them OR if you wait some time?
4. Is your HUD visible (health readout, wep+ammo bar readout, etc.) or is it not showing? When the HUD is not showing then your inventory usually won't either.
5. Did you lose ALL of your inventory except for the translator OR did you only have the default given items? Loosing everything except the translator can be the steal protection, and losing everything except the default given items could mean some type of travel issue.
6. Was your scoreboard score reset to zero? A zero score can be a second indication the steal protection stripped you or not.
7. Does reconnecting WITHOUT changing names or changing computers make the inventory return?
Keep these questions in mind and try your best to answer them fully when such events occur. If you want to take snap shots take pictures of the HUD (normal view) and the scoreboard. Personally the only problems I've ever had is what I mentioned in numbers 3 - 4, and that's somthing you can see in other mod servers on rare occasions when there is network congestion or lag.
Hyper, I'm curious about what U packages you specified in the server's 'ServerPackages' array. Do you have wooper/klingon U packages that contain wooper inventory in it and listed in the array? If not then maybe doing that may prevent any possible loading issues that may can solve this.

If those Klingon maps keep giving problems I'll remove them. But I never have been stripped myself there.

I had every weapon, an ice age, a hhg, a shockfield, an arura ascuba, an aura dampener, a guide(AKA flying turret), a transporter, an AREG, an AB, a set of spider legs, a jet pack, an artic suit, and 203 frags. but now I only have the items you start with how can I fix this?? |

Well, not weekly now but way longer.

When I was on The Source level (noone else) I wanted to get some frags but after I killed The Queen I got killed (not disconnected). Then I came to the lair again (not reconnected), killed Exorist and then timed out. Then I connect again (without changing anything). When I connected again I was on NyLeve Falls level with 0 score and 0 frags. Also all my inventory (all[25+] weapons, all my items [HHG, iceage, guide, transporter, jetpack, invisibility, spiderlegs, 5 belts, jmarinesuit, simple armor, fart boots, repositioner, shockfield, aura regeneration, starshield, aura scuba, aura dampener]) erased, only default weapons and default inventory left . How can I get my inventory and frags (which I collected 15+ days) back??? . It happened 6:04 (GMT +2) at 07.03.2007. P.S: Becouse of that I dont want to play HyperCoop like wanted 2 hours ago |

This has every indication of a server crash (after which it automatically restarts). You can not get your inventory nor your score back. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Do you mean all inventories are stored on server?
And if other crash occurs i will lose everything again?

Yes, when you play on any Unreal coop server, your inventory is saved in the RAM memory of the server. Not on the disk and not on the client.
This means that when the Unreal server program is being shut down, restarted or experiences a crash, the saved information will be lost. I do have measures to lengten the time between restarts, like I spent a few years of evolutionary research to find out which mods and tools work fine on the server and which ones do not. I also have a UPS to be able to survive small power outages and fluctuations.
But still you should be prepared to be reset somewhere between every week and every month. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

You did nice work, but... you REALLY should make some algorithm of saving inventory on servers hard disk, for example every map switch, to be able to restore inventory after crash, or make server automatically check and restore inventories from files (just after start) if exists one, this will make your servers unique: inventory saves even after restart! Also this will be... just COOL |
