hey..
it started as a village map - ended as a map with only 1 house. its a part of my campaign (logically i started from the middle of the story ).. there is no teleporter to the next map, it should be at the skaarjship energy lift thingie.. beware of the manta at the start.

The mountains need some work and you need to put them on the right side or the map, cause seeing the skybox texture like that is ugly.

Can't go in the house either, think you should make it where we can.

Nali gets stuck on the table and can't roam around.

The woman's body, flak, ammo, etc are all placed slightly into the map and not ontop of the ground.

I suggest removing the word fuck from the trans message, just makes it look like an 8yr old made the map.

Clouds are going really fast in the sky, might wanna slow it down.

Just keep at it . Glad to see people still mapping for UI.

1. i didnt put some cliffs there because i noticed the skaarjship is too many on the right side.. the cliff would be very small then o_O so i placed a wall there..

2. yeah, thats because i didnt know how to make doors, now ive learned it and will combine it with a zoneportal maybe (wolfs tutorials are teh roxxor )

3. at the table? at my tests he was running around the tree near the house.. strange.

4. the funny thing is, at software rendering theyre normal, but in direct3d rendering theyre in the earth. i dont know how to fix that..

5. np :D

6. yeah but how?

Can't you just cut out some more of the map to make room for the cliffs? Cause that wall looks ugly.

As for the clouds..I'm not a mapper, but isn't there some panning speed settings?

[copied from unrealsp.org forums]

its a shame for me to post all of my problems here but IM COLLAPSING!!
ive tried 100 times to change the encroachtype, the initialstate etc!
with the mover working my map will be complete, but it DOESNT work!!
thanks to frieza ive got the mover moving when triggered, but now theres the same problem as before! the player freezes while he stands on the mover!

this are the mover options and i just dont know what to change now. i cant help myself, sorry for troubling you.

-
when this mover is working, i can upload an "enhanced" version of Deregath Village. but now im stuck at this problem.

final version of Valley of the lonely Nali "released"!
-fixed thousands of bugs (youre able to fly through some walls if youre hit by the skaarj at the right place.. and THE SECRET MOVER BUG FIXED!!)
-another secret added (which is more difficult to find and contains my best looking mover ever IMO)
-replaced wall through cliffs
-deleted the minigun from the first secret
-replaced some odd textures
