That's right Unreal fans....the THS RTNP 225 COOP Pak is now being released. Keep in mind this is NOT a beta release. This has been fully tested and is very compatible for the most common Gametypes available.
Hopefully it will show-up as a link on Hyper's site soon but for the meantime I have provided a link for those that would like to get it NOW!!!

Tentacle-Hunter & SrBassalot are proud to announce the release of THS RTNP 225 Mission Pack for Co-op.

"Although other RTNP conversions have been done, we feel this one is unique."
Our goal was NOT necessarily to do a "1 to 1" conversion of the original RTNP mission pack; that was literally impossible. Our goal was to do a conversion that was specifically designed to work right AND be fun for a 225 engine Co-Op server.

In that respect, we did take some artistic license with some content adding our own flavor to this conversion.

Some unique features of this conversion include:

- Basic RTNP gameplay & theme was preserved.
- 225 Engine compatibility & All known Client/Server bugs were fixed.
- Upak actors/pawns were fixed/improved where appropriate.
- Special attention was paid to ensure all maps were Co-op friendly (Player Blocks removed, pickups, pawns, etc.)
- The first part of "Eldora's Well" map has been included as a separate map restoring original continuity.
- It can also be played in single-player mode, if desired (including on a 225 install).

I have to say I have been following this TentacleHunter initiated project since 2004. It is nice that TH let Srbassalot pitch in to put it back on track, and I am pleased that it finally came out.

He he, it was more like TH got a good swift kick in the pants from SrBassalot to get it back on track!

Make no mistake, I did my part, but Bass did the majority of the thankless grunt work on this baby! It was hours upon hours of tedious move this brush here, make that one solid, that one needs to be rebuilt, change the settings on that mover over there, etc.

And for that I most humbly take my hat off to him, because believe me, that was the hard part of getting this project done!

I have barely been home for the past four days.

With my daughter starting high school (all honors classes), my wife and I are now officially Band Parents. This evening we had the third band function in the past four days...

My sons birthday is tomorrow (Sept. 15th)...

Not to mention My wife was in an automobile accident two weeks ago...

You get the picture... I am very, very busy right now.



At any rate if all goes well, I will be loading this project up on the "Co-op Gamer" Server in the morning!

Hopefully I will actually have some time to play in the next few days!

I now have the RTNP-THS conversion pack up and running on the "Co-op Gamer" server as of this morning.

IMPORTANT UPDATE>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We had a mix-up and 2 maps ToxicTHS and Glathriel2THS had been added that were older versions.....UGH
SO PLEASE if you have already d/led this pack re-download the complete package to replace ToxicTHS and Glathriel2THS OR or can just d/l this smaller map pack with those 2 maps....
We are REALLY sorry about creating this stupid problem :-[

Well actually it wasn't missing files BUT I had accidentally placed 2 maps in that were earlier versions ;-)
They each had one flaw that needed to be corrected and WAS corrected in the final version....sometimes being human is a biotch...LOL

O well could have been worse :-)

As much as I hate admitting it, I have to accept responsibility for the screwup with one map!
