Iv been making a mod with anarchys team. Its called XCoop.
You can simply control the summons and commands a player without admin can have. Sort of like DZMapM. If i can find a good scripter that can do you mutators,gametype,score boards i would certainly like that. If its possible i could use zombie or tentacle hunter. _________________ Improvements along the way friends and foes.

If you just need to have some contol over summoning and non-admin summons, you should take a look at JCoop4 (and beyond) which allows you to contol the summons on a class(tree) basis.
Back in the time I used it on my Gold server (where it was allowed to summon) to disable certain summons like projectiles and death traps. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Thankyou, Hyper. Im glad I dont have to go through all the trouble making that mod . But might I ask were are you able to do those functions? and also does it have control over certain commands? _________________ Improvements along the way friends and foes.

This list of blocked summons only blocks classes from being summoned. It does not allow you to control which other commands are allowed or blocked. I do know that many coop games have a few "light" admin functions, like AdminChild/Baby in MCoop2. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Don't ask me. The JCoop script is not mine, but Joss'. Improved JCoop versions are also available, but also not coded by me.

I see you too made new mod.I'l download it later cozz i am busy now:i wanted to port new mutators from Unreal Tournament.

I took a look at your work.
Nice one, simple and enjoyable idea there.
The only thing I'd change is why those pickups need to be activated?

Whell,I made this because player may use this powerup when he NEED it.
Such as health modifier - it's like kinda of transportable health.
When you have problems ,such as small health and when around legions of monsters,you'l activate it and will have small chanse to save your ass. ;)
But you're right.
You see,i took idea of player powerups from other game - main hero there can upgrade himself by using nano technologies.And there they was activateble. |
