That's because that map is not path-noded

I'm not a map maker, but when I opened SkyBase in UnrealEd I saw several PathNode actors (Apple Icons). :/ I haven't looked deeply into how MCoop2 determines monster starts, but it must be check some other conditions which are stoping things.

I gave a look at the code I wrote for retrieving PathNodes and there were actually no bugs... the problem is with the engine :shakehead:

In fact, I used to look for PathNodes scrolling through Level.NavigationPointList, but it looks like that list gets corrupted in some maps (like Skybase). As a result, I had to change that little part of code to an object iterator and now everything seems to work fine. That's a shame though, because the original method was faster...

Anyway, it's fixed and will be released with MCoop 2.1

Hopefully then we will be able to play all the way through Unreal as a monster without any annoying bugs

It's not a bug. That map doesn't work because it is NOT path-noded - this time, for real :/

It seems that you can not play as a monster on The Trench (Trench) so you only can be an "human" player class on that level, this is slightly annoying to monster players

Yes, I experienced it too. When I read the replies above, the map is probably not path-noded too. Just reconnect as human and continue to be a monster the next level.
