desert legion is a divison of the imperial legion and is a legion of elite nakhti soldiers tasked with defending the barren and desoloste regions of the nakhti homeworld.anubis and sobek were proven to be members of the desert legion during the events of unreal championship 2 and were still active all the way throuh the liandri confilct. In UC2 they have a base in the nakhti barrens were anubis and sobek are stationed at called nakhti imperial legion outpost 21A.their amour is very simalar to anubis's before he gets he singnature jackel armour but,with gold and black colors.
