Yes, I took my Unreal CD, installed it and played it.
Now I have two questions:

1. How to check what is the version of that Unreal? It isn't displayed anywhere, I also checked Release Notes and the log file and there was nothing about that. The only thing I know is that it was compiled Jul 1 1998 01:14:40 and the next patch to install is 224v so it has to be some version under that one. Should that be v220?

2. MAIN QUESTION: Does anyone know how to make the UnrealEditor in my old version to work? I assume that UnrealEd Fix 4 is target into 225f version or higher. The problem is that UnrealEd, when launched, just gets hung and does not reply.

UnrealEdFix4 is OK to install on earlier Unreal versions. I've run it on KHG v1.1 (which is actually version 219) with success. Same thing would probably happen to Unreal.

Hahahahah Postal helped me and now I know.

My old version is Unreal v.205 lol

But still there's the problem with Unreal Editor lol

dont know if this helps. I know when I bought my Voodoo2 card back then i picked up Unreal then, it had just come out then,, think it was mid 97 or 98, cant remember now.,

I do know UnrealEd on the CD never worked. until patched,it took my another 6months to get on dialup (OMG dialup)

think I've bought the game at least four times ,

I never even knew how to cheat in unreal until I read the back of the manual
