Anyone every run any of the available RTN map conversions on a 225 server? If so which one's and how compatible are they?
I would like to add them to my maplist but only if they are stable, so direct experience would be helpful...
Thanks,

I don't run an RTNP conversion (yet), but from observation Dinwitty's RTNP2U seems to be the most popular. Hyper's custom server also runs it and has been stable. There is also Crowind's 'RTNP-225' which is closer to being a 1-to-1 conversion but with some bug fixes. It lacks exported UPak inventory, and that could be a good or bad quality depending on your server capacity.
Dinwitty's RTNP2U is in Hyper's website download center and Crowind's 'RTNP-225' can be found at newbiesplayground.com coop maps link.

Added note: Dinwitty's RTNP2U is still beta (I'm waiting for a final since I joined Unreal Coop) and some maps do not work. The maps I run are running very well. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Hm, I can't give you a list, therefore it is too long (years) ago that I tried them. But it is quite simple: At a certain moment the map sequence goes from the standard RTNP maps to a set of new maps. In the beta I run, these new maps are not good enough to run well on a public server. Therefore I only run the conversed RTNP maps. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

You mentioned Crowind's Zombie, have you or anyone you know run them with any success? I don't care about the upak inventory issue I may be able to swap those out. What I really care about is stability.
Thanks,

Jackson of Jackson's server runs RTNP-225 once in a while. I asked him about his experiences running the map pack some time ago and he said it ran well except for one or two maps. I don't recall which map(s) or the problem. : -/

Well "Bass" is my favorite fish...as in LargeMouth Bass :-)
OK we better stop there, it's no longer about Unreal and Hyper will close it...
We wouldn't want to clog-up the forum ;-P

I encountered a critical instance in DuskFalls225 from 'RTNP-225'. The location where several Pupae kill a Brute near the end teleporter is unstable for pawns and that can cause them trigger a TraverseFrom/FindRandomDest server crash. It appears the map pathing may need to be rebuilt or some other map fix at that location.
I have yet to play and see about other map problems. I'll post if and when I discover any more.

WOOP WOOP (Insert abandon ship sound).........(Rats flee)
Initial mission ABORTED!!
There are WAY too may issues for me personally to consider converting Crowind's version, the reasons are numerous and unimportant at this point...However I can see my time better spent with Dinwitty's beta 2 version, it is far less buggy and has already had most of the conversions done. I may finish this in rather short order or I may never finish it (sound familiar?) I only say that because it seems this conversion is cursed because no one EVER finishes it!!!
We will see, I am planning on HOUNDING my buddy TH to help me finish this pack or his whichever is the best and most stable conversion in the long run but Crowind's version is not IMHO.....
Regards,
