The method was recommended to me by Dot's.
Once I asked him how he get so good results while exporting models from UT in UTWeapons mod for Unreal. And in message he qouted me this.
Code:
-Open UT UEd
-Create a tiny cybe map (empty map)
-Place some engine actors such as light actors
-Double click 1 of them
-Go to Display
-Set Mesh to some Botpack mesh
-Set DrawType to DT_Mesh
-Repeat this with different light actors until you have all your meshes you want.
-Save map as "Temp".
-Close Editor.
-Open "UnrealTournament.ini"
-Search for line "EditPackages=BotPack" and remove it.
-Save and close ini file.
-Open Editor again.
-Load map "Temp".
-Save texture package "BotPack" with some other name or if its not found as texture, import some temporarly texture with that package name.
-Rename "BotPack.utx" to "SomeMod.u".
-Start editing SomeMod.u or include it with your own mod with script import: "#exec obj load file=SomeMod.u Package=MyModName"

I used this while extracting rifle models from UT for my mod. This also works with other mods - how can you see crossbow models from ChaosUT.And I think that will work with Unreal.
Finally - no vertex and/or rotation errors.
You can use this way how you want, giving credits mostly to .:..: cozz it's his idea.

When you did all previous steps, open texture browser. There you will find package BotPack only with textures of models on this small map.
Save it as BotPack.utx. Then go to the textures folder, rename it from "BotPack.utx' to "Somemod.u" and edit.
That's pretty simple.

an if your alreaddy working on a mod and the package with the meshes isn't so big you can upload it into your ufile by typing this in your log located at the tab 'Window':

obj load file=Somemod.u Package=Yourmod

and btw my C harddisk is fucked up somehow. can't get on my own computer now. So i have to reïnstall my WHOLE C Hardddisk. Damm i'm so lucky i got ALL of my games on my D Harddisk else i would have lost stuff ive been working on for years. ALthough, i lost everything on my destkop to which was quite alot of work to, Sigh.. :(

Oh almost forgot, thanks for the advertisement of MentalPack1 at your site Hyper

But it doesn't work with Botpack. it still drags to much files along with it.

EDIT: i tryd using UTPT again, but or the model got f*cked up, or the rotation OR the animations/frames. can you try exorting the chainsaw model Shadow??
