I wanted to add some realism to Unreal.But I wanna ask your opinions, guys and girls, about it.
Here are few special things which I want release in the mod.
Usage uncomfortability
This thing will calculate players ground speed, water speed, jumpz using special function, depending on some number that defines uncomfortability of selected weapon.
Recoil system
That was released in previous version of AWS.I want to hear your opinions about it
Muzzle flashes
I can make them in 3 variations.
1st.Like in UT.I think you saw em and I don't need to explain.
2nd.Non special muzzle flashes, created like separate effects and spawns when you firing.They doesn't move with weapon and weapon owner.
3d.Same as 2nd but moves with weapon and weapon owner.
For now thjat's all. |

There's one thing. You think theres NO realism at all in Unreal ? For what i have heared i feel a little offended, you have no idea where i am working or any other modder is working on. i know you don't mean it that way, but i'm just saying that it comes over that way.
And about the ideas, i never gave any wide explanations of anything i made but to me it sounds like a reasonable idea tho _________________

I am sorry if I let something pass behind my attention, guys.I have too slow internet yet to download lastest mods.And really I have no a lot of time to do it.I ending 10th form and need to think some about future.Sure, this summer I'l be online but with time I have lower and lower time to work in Unreal. |

When you say that do you mean players can vary in thier physical attributes? Instead of everyone being exactly the same?
Or does it mean players who are holding heavy weapons like the Minigun and Eightball will move slower than a player with an Automag?
Also , I believe the word your looking for is "unconformity"..."uncomfortability " means "Not able to be comfortable"
Moreover, I think genetic varience between players would be funny...If you want to be really creative.. have things balance out (Fast players, jump higher..less health opposed to a slow moving muscular/fat player who has a bonus to health)
However, If this has nothing to do with what your exactly doing. Im afraid I failed to contribute in any way and simply dismiss this post. :P

Hybrid, you understand the idea.
I mean that players with more powerfull and large guns will move slower.
But now I see this idea unnecessary.Or it can be useful?

Personally I don't think reality belongs in Unreal but with that being said there's nothing wrong with changing the physics a little to reflect a "FAT Player" carrying a big gun :-) |

Making it fat is funny, but it can look so fucked up ugly in Unreal. Specially when your fat the whole time your carrying the gun. We can give it a try, but there is a change it wouldn't be as awesome as we think its gonna be. _________________
