Is it possible to run Unreal ED 1.0 in Direct 3D or Open GL? Such as the Unreal ED2's (Unreal tournament Editor) Direct 3D support for 3D viewing.

I thought that depended on the WindowedRenderDevice, which cannot be changed in game. Goto your Unreal\System map. And open Unreal.ini, then search for this:

Quote:
[Engine.Engine]
GameRenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice
AudioDevice=Galaxy.GalaxyAudioSubsystem
NetworkDevice=IpDrv.TcpNetDriver
;Console=SRcon2.SRConsoleEngine
Console=UBrowser.UBrowserConsole
Language=int
GameEngine=Engine.GameEngine
DemoRecordingDevice=Engine.DemoRecDriver
EditorEngine=Editor.EditorEngine
WindowedRenderDevice=SoftDrv.SoftwareRenderDevice
RenderDevice=GlideDrv.GlideRenderDevice
DefaultGame=UnrealShare.SinglePlayer
DefaultServerGame=UnrealShare.DeathMatchGame
ViewportManager=WinDrv.WindowsClient
Render=Render.Render
Input=Engine.Input
Canvas=Engine.Canvas
CdPath=E:\

Note that typing an invalid render device will result in crashing, make a backup of the file before editing it.

Regards,
-SR

edit: changed [pre] tags to quote tags, seems that this forum doesn't support [pre].

I have something like that and there is an UnrealEd.ini file in
Unreal 2/System, not Unreal/System. :roll:

Besides your file is way odd because some of the paths are C:\UnrealGold and some are C:\UnrealTournament :doubt:
