useley on my side of the game it takes 3-5 secs just for me to "Try" and hit a monster and not due its NOT to do with lag

melee attacks are to hard to acommplish but monster AI can do it with ease thaat aint fair

i played as a warlord on hyper's server never got the problem you have dark night and i played as a minion i still never got that problem maybe the problem is only with certain enemies

I think that the burst firing happens with any monster player with ranged attacks :shakehead:

Also for some of the larger monsters its nearly impossible to do a melee attack because their collision radius exceeds how far out they can do a melee attack

And speaking of ranged attacks, Slith players can't do them while moving (they should be able to)

hmmmm i've only used the ranged attacks on hyper's server maybe i should try that if i can but from what you say it doesnt look like it and that sucks for slith and titan players never played as them because i never thought they were good enogh maybe i should try. ill post my findings

ok i've tried the titan. i can do meele attacks with him and it hit the enemy. ill try with something else now

I know that it's for some monsters extremely difficult to decently hit an enemy. For example: the Pupae player. That's why I rather play as Nester now

ill help i do mre testing with the monsters later ill post which ones can actually hurt enemies with melee and/or ranged attacks

The nester and the minion seem to be fine so does the warlord and the skaarj troopers and snipers. All of the skaarjs seem to be fine at the moment. Ill try the titans soon.

Hiya, sorry I haven't gotten here sooner, my motherboard fried . I was suppose to be a primary suport person here with hyper. Well now im here. About this problem. These problems are reagularly encountered in my server because I actually use all the monster pawns. The property MeleeRange is entirely too low so all of your attacks are basicly not even reaching their intended target. The McoopSkaarjWarrior's is set to 69 for example. The setting actually needs to be around 100 for most medium to large monsters. 70-80 for smaller monsters. I recommend setting all to 100 to fix the problem. The Krall, SkaarjWarrior, and Titan all fire their ranged attack twice while the fire animation is only played once which makes the monster appear to be just standing there when it fires it's second ranged attack. They often just play a random animation sequence after the first shot. The Warlord's fire sequence plays too slow so when it fires it looks like hes just standing there unless you hold down the fire button and he only fires 1 shot. The Brute is correctly done (except for the MeleeRange). It is suppose to fire twice. The Slith's problem, I watched an AI controlled slith for 15 minutes and it DID NOT once fire while moving. Originally none of the monsters could fire while moving but I was able to convince winged that the monster players should be allowed to do anything the AI controlled monsters can. The Slith player not being able to fire while moving is just a product of that. Other than the MeleeRange problem the reason for it being hard to hit players is because you cannot melee attack untill your monster's walking\running animation sequence has finished playing. This can't be fixed unless winged or someone with permission to recompile mcoop steps in (as far as I know). I have discovered many other bugs in just the 3 weeks Ive been able to run my server again after 4 months of not having a computer. I will post a more complete list of bugs in a seperate post once I have compiled a list. For now I hope this helps.

dont forget the pawn brute how it just STANDS there shotting like when u enter the building in nyleve and the brute throws the guy.and then when the brute comes out he stands there shooting the with his amrs out,but when I stand still and do it then it just comes out as two on the left

Read carefully next time, since you have a habit of not paying attention to what I say then commenting badly. I said the slith did not once fire a ranged attack WHILE MOVING after watching it for awhile. As for the brute not animating, I haven't seen any animation problems with the brute. On nyleve they move just fine but the guy the first brute is suppose to throw does not move like hes suppose to. Only problem I can remmber with nyleve and the brute.
