sometimes when servers get crowded (over 8 people), players seem to get trouble joining the server on the next mapload, the connecting just times out and reconnecting doesnt always help. does anyone know how to fix this or what's causing it?
btw, the server capacity is set on 18 |

Is this your server? If so, I propose lowering the MaxPlayers to 8 if that sort of thing happens. _________________ I was K죣èr_§kā&#, until it got deactivated. |

nah its not my server, i was talking about the "[T]ension Infiltration Server"
inflitration is a gametyp which gets fun in teams of at least 5-6, so the capacity needs to be set at at least 15, if you allow people who arent playing.
and there are (and were) other infiltration servers with maxplayers set to 20 and still not encountering this problem |

A timed out login happens when the server is too busy to process your login request. It can happen right after map change where many players rejoin at once while the server is busy with applying mods/mutators to the new map.
It also easily happens when a dedicated servers' log window is open. A general solution is to close the log, reduce server workload or improve the performance of the server computer. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.
