I'm getting some first signs of RSI, especially after playing Unreal because it's very mouse-intensive. The good news is that it's not serious yet (only lvl1 RSI symptoms) but the bad news is that I have to reduce the mouse usage and take more breaks, otherwise it might get worse.

So I got myself a nice software tool called WorkPace which advises me to take breaks depending of work intensity, a trackball to use as alternative for the mouse. But depending on how I can improve my tracking skill I'll probably keep using the mouse for games because it's a bit more accurate.

So when my movements freeze in the middle of the game, it's probably a 10-second micro-break by the WorkPace software. :)

Anyone of you ever had some of these annoying RSI symptoms?

Recurring pain or soreness in neck, shoulders, upper back, wrists or hands.

Hmm, I have soreness in my neck, shoulders, upper back a lot. I thought it was cause I slept funky or something 0_o.

It will halp to take breaks from time to time. Prefer(r)ably 10 minutes every hour. And walk away from keyboard from time to time to improve blood circulation.
