I have some questions about MCoop3.
Will there be a MCoop 3?
Will it either be for Unreal, UT or LoV? :woot:
If it is inculded in LoV? Would it be given a new name? (like LoVMcoop)
And if it is for Unreal? What can we expect? (apart from bugfixes)
And if it's for Unreal, theres plenty of features/stuff you can implement, Like:
1. Better support for Monster Players (i.e. they spawn at the start with their human comtemparies, in Coop mode.)
2. More documentation and support for those that wish to add their own MCoop players. :woot:
3. Weapon models (and sounds if possible) for the Monster's weapons. >;)
4. Maybe you could add support for maps built speficaly for MCoop. ;D

No, there probably won't be a MCoop 3...
Anyway, I would like to answer to some of your points:

That's impossible. I already explained the reason many times... the Unreal maps are designed to be played by human players, therefore you cannot ask me to make a Titan player spawn in a Vortex Rikers cell. That's simply impossible (there's not enough room) and it doesn't even make sense...

I don't have time to write documentation for it anymore. About the support, just ask in these forums... I have given support to all who asked, so if you have specific questions this is the right place

Modelling/animating is something very hard to do in the old engine. So, don't count on it :/

stalward there are differnet modes of mcoop like mcoop.coop ( think its called) is where player humans and player monsters worked together to fight cpu monsters i think if you put something like mcoop.team or something..that woudl explaine why monsters spawn at the same points as humans, if you go to thje advanced options and put where it says mcoop.coop and replace it with mcoop.team i think to have how it was in on mccop 2.0, and second the monsters support couldent get any eaiser in this version of the mod, i like how the improvments for it have gone as a matter of fact, and third..leave the poor unicorn alone hes been busy ever since this great idea he has enough that he wants to do already..besides..i think mcoop is as far as it could go..and if not it wouldent be very big either, theres nothing more he can do to improve it..althoguh he may but hes to busy to start a mcoop 3 i think you can live with 2.1 mcoop 3 is not needed right now and besides there not anotyher monster mod that can take away wingeds fame for utterly beating the crap out of smartballs monster mod on his first release, so be glad winged took the time to make version 2.1  |
