You know you can still use the same master server Shivaxi.

Just block the servers that are causing spam; Put the server's IP under BannedIP in the chatlink settings. That way you can communicate with my server and mentalhunter's, without getting spammed by whoever is doing so.

...Or you could just turn on bAntiSpam.

yeah i know but like i said...jack's chatlink server goes down like every day and it gets annoying :P

also im having some weird trouble with my chatlink server...for some reason when in my 225 server, the map will end...and then everyone will get connected to my chatlink server (which i set so noone can join) and everyone crashes...i changed the ports of the servers so there not using the same ports but it still happens...no idea why

oh nvm...figureed out the problem...when i set the port i still had unreal running and u cant edit the ini when its running...so those 2 servers were using same port...its all fixed now...so connect to my chatlink if you'd like...the one that DOESNT go down

Hm, I could use some info of which (permanent) chatlink servers are available and which servers are on that particular chatlink server.

(And yes, I use bAntiSpam. But it does not work well enough to stop all spam. I guess it only stops spam of the same messages. Some ppl use custom sonsoles with functions to spam different messages. <== One of the many reasons I do not allow custom consoles at my servers)

Most servers are connected to Jackrabbit's. WHich are: Cheese server, UberCoop. Pickledegg's server, UnrealCoop. Drake's server Dimension's coop. Red Horned muderer aka CableB's (Don't remember server name, he keeps chaning it lol). And mine. MentalCOop. I think there's more, but don''t remember them at the moment.

Well i can tell you that Jackrabbits isnt permanent at all...like i said (2 times now but noone seems to ever listen) his server is constantly going down.

I believe i am the only other person running a chatlink server...and my servers are the only ones on it right now...also my servers rarely ever go down...if they do them something terrible has happened

huh didnt realize that many servers were connected to the chatlink.

Anyways my take on this whole chatlink server thing is that it is rather annoying to be playing and having other people drop in on your conversation >.>

Om, Pcube seems to be slow with the improvements to CHatLink and I haven't received a response on my mail. Because of this I'll probably switch to my own chatlink server for the time being.

I saw you posted at his gesutbook. If you readed the whole page, you might could have seen the reason why Pcube didn't replyd to your mail.

@mental: I did not see anything useful on that page at the moment you wrote it, but now PCube replied there. I now understand what was going on and will see when he is back to normal again.

I disconnected from the global chatlink and made a local server now. I hope to reconnect back to global when the chatlink with spam-and chatfilter is available from Pcube.

Hyper could you mail me ur older version of chatlink? The new version only works with xcoop and is no longer stand alone. Which doesn't make much sence cause it suppose to link all servers together, guess not.
