Thats old tech demo stuff.
The enviroments you see are physic and particle effect tests.
The varius pawns you see are Gears of War enemies. To demonstrate the high resolution of Unreal Engine 3 models and Ect.

I actully plan to move to GOW if it comes to PC with Co-op Support. But under those conditions ONLY.

still, i wanna try U3 and when gow is pc, ill try it too. the problem is, that when that happens this comp is much too slow for it! XD

There is no Unreal 3. It is misinformation that has been passed on from user to user. I also am hoping that someday GOW will come out on PC and then I'll be able to see if it's as good as some make it out to be.

No, it's certainly not..

The Unreal Engine's the development framework for the game. Unreal 1 and Unreal Tournament are based on the Unreal Engine 1, while UT2003 and 2004 are based on the Unreal Engine 2. Unreal Tournament III is based on the third and newest Unreal Engine.

Gears of War was basically meant to be as other title at Unreal series, but then they decided to make other game from it.
Btw, UT3 will have some real storyline now, so you should look for this one.
And Unreal 3 is not planned, not now at least.

Somthings are right some things are wronge, UT3 Is unreal 3. Which most of you wouldnt belive me. They have a new storyline to ut. They basicly tricked unreal players into beliving ut was just tournaments for ever. Well, They were wronge. If you even notice the 3 or 6 trophys... Well ut2k7 was the last trophy. UNTIL.... The necred destroyed civilization. And the games were canceled. Now in ut3 instead of 2k7. You fight with you're squad or team and attack, defend, assault, retreat, in general warfare. Me and hybrid know its genius, and well planned foolish trick. And we know how things will be done in this next game. Things such as onslaught and all the gametypes etc, Will be combined into 1 gametype or concidered Co\op game. WarZone. Online will or maybe have servers or just have 1 server. The microphone radius between each other will be more realistic. If you yell, You're team mate or bot will hear you from far away. Or if you Whisper to you're team mate closest to you. They will here you only. Another thing is that, You will be fighting monsters known as necred. And you will conkor of loose land. You will take over land and use general warfare, like the map in onslaught. But you will be able to drop ammunition etc, in certain locations depending if you are in you're territory. Yet it is not a rpg game. It is a first person shooter up close. And it will test you're limits to you're mental capability. The bot ai is much better than gears and so is the graphics and texture rendering. The ai includes the ability for the other general to plan and use its own tactics against you. Most likely you will be able to create higher ai with the editor, or what i mean by providing him with more hand made tactics. The game is about which general dies first. Either you or him. This isnt a xan gametype anylonger, But there may be a easter egg for him. This is all i know and got to say. This information was provided and sent from epic games over mail.
