Heya,

This forum seems like the perfect place to ask my specific question.

And that specific question is; how can I force my server to exceed a maxplayer count of 16?

Hm, never tried that. You could try to use a automaticlly applied set command with DZMapM to set the value every time the server loads a level.

Sorry, I've never heard of or tried that map (I like to avoid custom made maps at all cost for obvious reasons).

Does this map feature a non-default code/script which enables this? Or would it be issued with Unreal allready?

DZMapM (DeadZone Map Mutator) is not a map but a general purpose mutator utility for Unreal servers, especially coop. One of the features is to automatically apply 'set' commands to change variables of your choice.

You can also download the latest version from my signature.

As for exceeding 16 players, it would not be advised. Unreal's scoreboards don't even support more than 16 player slots, and most gametypes don't either. Plus, Unreal's networking would become much more unreliable beyond 16 regardless of server resources/bandwidth.
