I hear ya and your right....the sad part is it will never be like it was, that is why it is VITAL people try to help one another with problems.....there are some that believe unreal code is intellectual material in the sense it should never be shared, that is a big mistake to the community..When this game dies and it will, they all do, what they stood for will mean nothing and the material will be useless....that's sad :-(

Don't get me wrong, I KNOW how hard it is to do mods and such and they deserve MASSIVE credit!!!!!!!! but keeping the info to yourself helps no one in the end and trust me the end always comes...for everyone :-P

Cheers,
Bass

that's true but. The main reason i hide my code is that other beginners might use it and say its their own. That's why i put the sources on my site, and if anyone asks for a source i send it to them via email, i always backup my mods before i hide the scrips ;)

I could care less about "hiding script" but I do want to cut back the down load time so how do you guys do that?
Been meaning to ask that....

Fist ALWAYS backup your mod.
Then delete ALL of the script of the classes you want to.
And i mean really All, evens the "Class ** extends/expands **;" shit and save your mod.

Tell me if i need to be more specific

How the hell does it work with all the code gone?
Is it because it is already compiled and saved elsewhere?

Thanks.....

easy, what mental means is deleting the script and saving it WITHOUT compiling it. that way it'll still work, although the script is gone. Hasn't got any use if you want to do that cuz of "stealing" people, i thought there was something that could get the script back, or am i just making things up

OK so let me get this straight...

The process is>>>
Write your code..compile (save at this point is a good idea for a backup I assume, and export a copy out) next delete all content..Do NOT recompile it and then save it..
Is that correct?

Thanks..
