Is there anyway to access the current server log in use without
restarting the server?
I would like to be able to access it and don't want players to lose
their inventories.
Thanks |

This might work: copy the log to an other location, and then open it. It works here on Windows 2000.
Update, Might or might not. Sometimes it works, usually not. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

Doesn't Hyper use Windows 2000 Server (I assume that this is what you meant) for his servers? _________________ StalwartUK |

Windows 2000 pro and server have the same way of handeling files, so it should work in W2KServer as well. But maybe it is because I access the log file from the local network. When you have a LAN, you could try this as well. _________________ Alter your reality...forever.

I tried access from a LAN PC and it makes no difference it still gives
a "sharing violation, source or destination file in use" error.
There has to be an answer if anyone knows please let me know....
Thanks |
