Okay I lived through one reset and did another come? I lost all my items AGAIN! I had the 1200 frag Avis item too along with my favorite guns Havoc/Soul Collapser.

I had like 200 frags also I was saving for the dragon boots...

I dont have items anymore let alone GUNS!!!!

I have the translator and 4012 hp...

Okay when I get in heres what happens.

It shows the guns and items and all real breifly. Then it takes them all away. I can pick up other guns louise hp and other things but it doesn't change anything if I log back on or doesn't save in other words.

I joined while someone ended the level jsut now. It restarted everything...

Were you trying to play from a different computer or a re-installed unreal after your previous time on the server? JCoopZ can be sensitive to any client differences which 'could' indicate a possible cheater or 'new' player of that player name.

The reason why you lost everything the time the server switched maps is because the current state of player inventory is saved during map travel. Yours was destroyed off of your player just before the travel causing that state to save instead.

No I hadn't changed anything to my knowledge. And it was working fine that morning.

Yes, I have a breif understanding of how the server works so I know why it just restarted everything with the level change.

I suspected the cheater thing went off but it never changed my name just took away my items.

I am just wondering if there is any way I can get my items back saving 1200 frags for one item and only enjoying it for three days is somewhat depressing.

The server has had one crash, related to the Vortex gun. Because that gun never crashed the server before in the years I use it I'll keep the server unchanged for now, but when the Vortex gun gives more trouble I'll remove it.

This looks like the inventory / score theft protection. It's still there, but changed a bit. It no longer uses the protection from the GemDagger itself but now the gametype has a built-in protection which gives less trouble. (Which does not say there is no trouble at all)

There is no way to get the items back when someone ended and you still were there with your stripped inventory. I guess they were ending without asking again...

No just bad luck I litteraly joined the server as the map ended.

Could it have been someone tryn to get into my account thus causing it to be fubar?

You couldn't just spawn my my permanent invis? The other items are replaceable but that 1200 frags took me a while.

No, I don't summon. Losing the inventory is a certain risk of the game. And it WILL happen again. While I spent a lot of time to improve stability with help of Zombie, there will be software updates from time to time as long it's a test server and there are still unsolved bugs in Unreal which may cause a server to crash. *maybe* there is going to be some kind of inventory/score recovery in the JCoopZ gametype, but even that does not help when someone ends the game at the wrong moment.

Also, even when the server has this crash recovery, I'll still reset it all from tiem to time (Not too often) because the game will get boring at a moment when everyone has everything already.

The interesting part right there. What's so odd about this is that I see no reason why it failed to find this function. It's right in the class from what I saw. Usually you can find these errors from incompatible mods designed to run on a different patch or a mod dependant on another that's missing.

Think we will have a pause in server equip resets?

The uh last one that happened after my own personnal anti-cheat character bug really bumed me out.

There will be a few more JCoopZ updates which need a restart, and there still might be some crashes, but it should be more stable now without the VortexCannon.
