Thought about making a new project, so here it is. It's basically a special map, where you need to kill pawns to earn cash. You can spend your cash at a shop, and I am planning to add a honour feature, so you can get higher status in the camp. if any1 is interested and wants to help me with it, by creating custom weps or something, feel free to ask me

I'm on it if needed creation of custow stuff such as weps, items and armoury.
Seems there will be borned new gametype.Erm... Monster Hunt? Kill more monsters to earn money and get extremely powerful stuff.

Yeah.Maybe with new models, maybe not.
For mod that Bleeder suggested will be very and very useful item such as GemDagger.
If this thing will be created, mod will be able to support coop maps.Because it's not very comfortable to run to the some map where shop will be based after each level.Or during some level.

well... my 'gemdagger' idea was that its a zone where you can enter the shopmenu, and not a carryable item. it's gonna have a new HUD and gametype, so the HUD will show you what shop you entered and then you can just type the enter command so the menu will pop up (it will be a new zoneinfo thingy). Here's a screenie:


oh, and about the weps, custom meshes are ok, as long as the weps itself wont get too strong with much momentum.

Really, I don't like create extremely strong weapons.Game become booring when you send fly around all map chunks of your enemy in one shot(excepting nuclear weapons).

So can I participate in your project?

sure you can, first i gotta finish most things in the map, like spawners for pawns and som more houses etc. then well take a look at the weps and items ok?

I'l start the work at least during twoo weeks.I can't earlier cozz I gotta have checkup in a hospital during this twoo or three weeks and will have no time to work.

And some questions about the work.

What weps and/or items would you like to see? My idea - mesh import from UT but with rebuilded textures, new sounds (I have good collection of sounds from games such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Half-Life 2 (Episodes), Crysis and few other games) and absolutely new abilities.

hmm well the theme of the map is like the middle-ages.(i say that right?) so maybe crossbows, but i dont care if you add more futuristic things.

I'l think about the mod name.
Besides, also I wanted to make stuff such as spellbooks.And if I'l make it, may I make the ammo type for them (or for any weapon)?Such as manna for spells, spellbooks and enchanted weapons, arrows for crossbows and bows etc?
Sure, easiest way to don't use any ammotype...

Actually I think that Using Ammo is pretty wise hence the "realism" I mean an Infinity Crossbow? >.<
